One year of writing software in Go

A year ago, I started writing my first professional project in Go. Until then, I had never written a single line of that programming language. Most of my prior work has always been in Python and Java. This article summarises my experience with the language, peppered with some opinions here and there. However, this is not an opinion and judgement on the language. This is also not a guide on how to learn Go.

Hi! Good to see you here

I am Pranjal, and thank you for visiting my page! Here’s a 60 second blitz about me,

I primarily work in Machine Learning, Backend and Distributed Systems.
Specifically, I work at on inference orchestrationn platforms and model tooling.
I did my undergraduate in Computer Science and Engineering in 2018.
Currently, I am working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Pixxel Space. Earlier I was with Mad Street Den, Synopsys and OurEye.ai.
